You could try to search for information like everyone else. With SAP there is something called release notes. LSO release notes can be found in the ERP release notes for HCM (EHP5) or PE Training and Event Management (EHP6). In short, there are not that many changes for LSO. In EHP5 you have the business function HCM_LSO_CI_3 and in EHP6 new PFCG roles were introduced and previous ones obsoleted. EHP7 brings the Renovated Learning Portal which is something you should consider.
