Restore of database backup with same sid

Hi Folks

i have taken backup of our system last week now the main system for which backup has taken is not working we have decide to restore the offline backup with same sid if i copy all files to sapdata1 then also it will start i have to restore with BRRESTORE cmd let me know the steps.

i have backup on the different drive

for ex c:\windows

          D:\ORACLE and SAP

          E:\Offline Backup

i have to restore E:\drive offline backup to D:\
