i dont think it works like this...
If there is a Text file attached you can read it. But if its not a Text-File, how would you be able to read it? what do you want to see in the Editor if its a PDF or Excel or whatever? did you check what these files looks like when you open them in editor outside SAP? you will ever only see "junk content" because they are encoded.
The convert_otf_to_pdf is a 1 way ticket - you wont get the OTF-Content back again. So i think you are not able to check the pdf-email-attachments.
