One of our users faced the exact same issue and we together with our consultants haven't been able to resolve it yet. The 'Journal Query' window is stuck on the task bar and there is no way it can be maximized, moved or visualized in any way.
What I did to not resolve, but at least quick-fix it, was to install the BPC client (we run 7.5 MS) in a secluded Excel environment, where the 'Journal Query' shows as it should.
I wonder is there any way to 'reset' this window? I assume there we'd need go into the registry settings?
